On 10 July 2017, implementation launch conference was held at Ramada Hotel in Podgorica, whose aim was to mark the beginning of the implementation of the projects contracted within the 1st Call for Proposals published in the framework of the programme Interreg-IPA CBC Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2014-2020. The conference was organized by the Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia, the programme’s Managing Authority and the Ministry of European Affairs of Montenegro, the programme’ national body in Montenegro.

The conference was an occasion to acquaint the interested public, partners and potential applicants in Montenegro with the funding opportunities provided by the EU to its current and future member states through the Interreg-IPA CBC programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro. During the conference speeches were held by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Mr. Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, the Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia, Ms. Gabrijela Žalac, Assistant Director of the Direction for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Zara Halilović, Ambassador of the European Union in Montenegro, Mr. Aivo Orav and the Acting Director of the Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia, Ms. Stella Arneri. Representatives of the institutions whose project have been contracted in the framework of the 1st Call for Proposals presented the details of their project ideas.
